Roland Garros and the great cities May 27, 2006

I live in Melbourne (home of the Australian Open tennis). It's a nice place to live, but I never considered it one of the great cities of the world. The Roland Garros – French Open website would seem to dispute that notion. Here we have Melbourne alongside Paris, London and New York. I guess we have the long gone golden days of Australian tennis to thank for that.
